MED-SEG™

Segments put medical image in focus

  • MED-SEG™ system FDA Cleared

The MED-SEG™ System analyzes regions of multiband, multispectral and hyperspectral image pixels. It is available with a custom data-mining server;a computational engine; and an object oriented database to manage data, models, and results , and access to Bartron’s Hierarchical Image Segmentation High Performance Cluster (HPC) , an online image processing system.

The MED-SEG™ will be used in large healthcare organizations and radiology offices. This includes hospitals, radiology centers, and universities for research purposes. In addition to general PACS use, this system can be used by trained professionals (e.g. physicians, radiologists, nurses, medical technicians, and assistants) to separate 2D images into “digitally related” sections or regions that, after colorization, can be individually labeled by the user.

MED-SEG™ Dashboard and Viewer

MED-SEG™ Viewer

  • MED-SEG™ Dashboard

1. The Image Processor responsible for taking an image and processing it on the HPC cluster so it can be viewed by the MED-SEG™ Viewer or extracted and then viewed by one of the other viewer programs.

2. The Parameter Loader is next program; it allows the user to create a parameter folder containing the image, its parameter file and raw file.

3. The Study Sampler responsible for extracting the data from an already processed images.

4. The Bare Viewer is a screening tool that allows you to extract the processed data.

5. The Bare Viewer is the MED-SEG™ Viewer. This is the main image viewer program allows user to apply various tools.

6. Previewer. This program will give you a tiled view of all the thumbnail images in a sequence.

Geographic Diversity: U.S. companies, particularly small
and medium-sized enterprises, should consider approaching India’s markets on a local level. Good localized information is a key to success in such a large and diverse country. The U.S. Commercial Service posts in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata provide valuable
local information and advice and are well plugged in with local business and economic leaders. Multiple agents are often required to serve each geographic market in the country.

Market Entry Options: Options include using a subsidiary relationship, a joint venture with an Indian partner, or using a liaison, distributor, project, or branch office.
